Our Team
Rayella Vaughn
- Rayella Vaughn is a native of Jamestown. After receiving her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree at Mercer University in May of 1990 she returned to her hometown to work at Medi-Thrift Pharmacy. She is married to Joey Vaughn and they have one adult child, Joseph. Joey and Rayella purchased the pharmacy in June of 2002 and have been serving their local community ever since.

Joey Vaughn
Joey Vaughn is the co-owner of Medi-Thrift Pharmacy. He has an Ag Business degree from Austin Peay State University. Joey and his wife Rayella purchased the pharmacy in June of 2002. He serves as the pharmacy manager and is very involved in supporting local community activities as well as serving on various local boards. In his spare time he enjoys spending time on his farm.
Emily Moody
Emily Moody graduated UT College of Pharmacy in 2001 and has worked for Medi-Thrift Pharmacy for 20 years. She is married to Stacy Moody and they have 5 children and 2 daughter-in-laws.
Jon
Jon has been practicing pharmacy since 2009. He has worked in both retail and clinical settings. He and his wife Kendra have 4 children and enjoy working on the family farm when not pursuing his pharmacy duties.
Valerie Jones
Valerie Jones is a native of Jamestown. She received her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from Mercer University in May of 1989. She was previously employed at our local hospital for over 30 years, serving as Pharmacy Director from 2001-2019. Valerie joined our staff 2019. She is married to Randy Jones and they have two adult children Logan and Lauren.
Joseph Vaughn
Joseph Vaughn is currently a fourth year pharmacy student at Union University College of Pharmacy. He is from Jamestown, Tennessee. He is currently completing his clinical rotations and will be graduating in May of 2024 with his Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree.
Katie Wagers
Katie Wagers is a native of Kingsport, TN and received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from Appalachian College of Pharmacy in May of 2022. She relocated to Jamestown to join Medi-Thrift Pharmacy as a staff pharmacist. She is currently engaged to Tucker Jett with wedding plans for the fall of 2023.
